This month I chose to practice the art of sound design. Sound design has never been my forte so of course there was an experimental video aspect to it. As the soundtrack cycles through three unique sound scapes that match the images, try to focus on one scene and recognize how the audio contrasts the opposing images. The busy city sound scape pollutes the forest, and the city unnatural while listening to nothing but the sounds of the forest. Oddly enough, a balance between these two sound scapes, with the addition of some small apartment ambiance, create the sound design of my Chicago apartment.
